In 1985 was recognized by the Italian Association of Fertility and Sterility for his research in gynaecological microsurgery.
From 1988 to 1992 was the Research Director at the University of Utah.
From 1994 up to date he has also lectured at the Department of Immunology at London Hospital Medical College, England.
